We can teach you everything you need to know about on-camera acting in six weeks, but if your mindset is off, you won’t be able to process it much less execute. At Vermilion, we start and end with mindset in every single class, tutorial, and coaching session. It’s the most essential part of success: the main ingredient in wealth, relationships, and bookings. If you want to change your life, change your mindset. And then work with a coach to make it habitual!

You can go a short distance without craft, but not a long one. Whether it’s acting, writing, directing, or producing, your craft is what sets you apart from the competition. Fortunately our founder, Misha, has decades of experience first as an actor, training with some of the top coaches in New York, and then as a filmmaker. Her work on both sides of the camera means an approach to craft that addresses the technical while also encouraging pure creative expression.

Craft is where you refine your art, but your presentation is how you honor your audience and curate your work for public view. It encompasses everything from lights, sound, and camera to email, social media, and headshots. The more you practice, the easier it gets. One of the top setbacks actors face is (ironically) a reticence to be seen. Presentation helps you step into your brand and take ownership of your full, authentic self. It’s a visual medium after all!
